Inyo-White Panoramas

Running north-south parallel to the Sierra on the east side of the Owens Valley, the Inyo-White Mountains fall in the rain and sunset shadows of the Sierra. The section north of Westgard Pass is called the White Mountains. The section to the south is called the Inyo Mountains.

Despite the smoke haze from a fire in the San Bernadino National Forest, the view extends at least 60 miles south to the Horseshoe Meadows Road to 67 miles West-Northwest to Dana Peak.
