Sunrise Highway and Cuyamaca Panoramas

The mountains of southern California, near the Mexican border, are easily accessed via the Sunrise Highway through the Laguna recreation area and Route 79 through Rancho Cuyamaca. These panoramas were collected there. The high position of the roads gives a good view into the desert country of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Mount Palomar is on the far left. Mount San Jacinto is in the left center. Granite Mountain is in the middle distance. The Santa Rosa Mountains are on the distant horizon on the right center. Whale Peak forms the skyline on the right. This contrast enhanced panorama has bearings overlaid from 320 to 360 and 0 to 65 re: true north.
